Romans 8:26- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
Calm down lady, you are also included in the category of ‘sons’. The leading of the Spirit is not for pastors or ministers, every child of God ought to be led by the spirit. For a while I have been writing on THE REAL WOMAN and her Purpose. The Real Woman like I said is your spirit, not your body, not your soul. To know your purpose, you have to ask God. I know many get confused at this junction because they have been praying for along time but yet to ‘hear’ God as regards purpose. This is the reason for this teaching, it is to bring a balance to you and your purpose.
Few weeks ago, I was on vacation, I do this when needed especially after heavy duties, to rest, think and study, it’s a get away moment from the usual activities. It means taking a break from the normal routine and doing what everyone does including seeing movies regularly. I had to watch Africa Magic for a while, although I have never been a fan and I’ll never be, I prefer more intelligent movies. So I decided to see some of their movies. I noticed a trend, every time there was an issue, they either run to a church prophet, herbalist or an Islamic clergy for guidance, this pattern was CONSISTENT IN ALL THE MOVIES. You can also bear me witness. So I realized the problem of most believers is that they have fed themselves with this long enough, so anytime, there is a pressing issue, we look for a prophet to show us the way out, we dial the number of the latest prophet introduced to us. We seek guidance from without and not within, THIS IS TOTALLY UNSCRIPTURAL.
The challenge of many believers is that we are either too lazy or too busy to sit with the WORD in order to know God’s plan for our lives, so we jump at every alternatives that lead us to the ditch in all cases. The will of God for every believer is to be led by the Holy Spirit. If you are born again, it means you are born of the spirit, your spirit is recreated in the likeness of God, it is as Holy, as pure as God is, and the Holy Ghost dwells in your spirit.
The Real you is your spirit, the Holy Spirit would lead you through your spirit, so you have to be more conscious that you are a spirit being. Don’t be over conscious of what you wear, how you look on the outside, those things are good, but the real you is the hidden man of the heart according to 1Peter 3:3-4. You must be conscious that we live from the inside out, not vice versa.
If you are born again, you have the Holy Ghost, but if you do not speak in tongues, you are not yet filled or baptized with the Spirit. You can have a bottle of 75cl, containing 20cl of water. It has water but not yet filled with it. This is the difference between been born of the spirit and be filled with the Spirit. The latter comes with the evidence of speaking in tongues. If you are believing God for this latter experience, it can be ministered to you through the laying of hands and by also believing what the scripture says concerning this..
Holy Spirit is the one that leads us, guides us in the path of purpose fulfillment. Holy Spirit dwells within you, not without, so stop looking for answers with people, when you have it on your inside. It’s like searching for what is not lost. The plan of God is for you is to be led by the Spirit not by prophets, they can confirm things to you but you are not to seek guidance from them. The leading of prophets passed with the old covenant because then, few people were the one privileged to have Spirit upon, they were priests, prophets and kings, but now, every believer has the Holy Spirit dwelling on his/her inside. Say this, ‘I am a spirit, I have the Holy Spirit in me, I can be led by Him’.
There are several ways the Holy Spirit leads, one of it is by the INWARD WITNESS. This is the primary way God leads every believer. It functions like a check in your spirit, it’s like an intuition, you would just know what to do. I remember in part 5, while I was praying concerning my internship, I prayed in tongues and I just knew in my spirit that it was in Ilorin, I had been praying concerning this since part 4. I didn’t get this knowing until the next year. I had never been to the city, I had no relative or acquaintance there, so it could never have been my head that thought about it. I just knew within me, it was there and no one could shake it off me, my dad had contacts in other places that I could have gone to, but if I had not followed the leading of the Spirit to be here, my ministry would not have started because God had a target population for me to minister to here, in fact, the vision of The Complete Woman started in the same city. I would share more experiences in the next post.
Develop your spirit and learn to follow the INWARD WITNESS, sometimes you can’t really explain how you know something, you just know right down on the inside of you. It comes mostly when praying in tongues, your head and mind is silent, so the Holy Spirit passes into your spirit what to do, and you just pick it like a signal, like a light bulb that just came on. Learn to wait on God enough till you know on your inside what is right to do.
