Dear men,as much as you would want your wife to submit unto you,Christ demands that you submit unto Him also.
Submission is not just a tag for women, it is expected from men also because as much as you are the Lord of your wife,Christ is also your own Lord.
A man is expected to lead the spiritual affair of his home,but to be able to do that effectively,you must also submit to the Lordship of Christ. How would you love a woman if you don’t understand how Christ Loves His own bride (the church).
You are able to communicate better,what you live.
In Gen 18:19,God could vouch for Abraham that he would command his household in the way of the Lord.Can God say the same about you?
Abraham was not just known for hearing God,he was better known for PROMPT OBEDIENCE to all of God’s instructions.
To lead your home effectively in spiritual matters,you must have a living relationship with God,you must be a lover of God’s presence with prompt obedience. Christ loves the church by also nourishing her and carefully protecting her.Feed your household with spiritual food,you are the Prophet of your own home.
Dear Woman,if your husband refuses to take the lead in these things,please don’t hesitate to do it. Timothy’s faith was traceable to his mother and grandmother, well,I know nothing about his father, all I know is that a very young age,he had known scriptures(2 Tim 3:15),someone had to teach him.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by God’s Word,so Timothy’s faith was traceable to the word he had heard from his mother and grandma.
Ephesians 6:4- And ye fathers,provoke not your children to wrath but BRING THEM UP IN THE NUTURE AND ADMONITION OF THE LORD.
It is the duty of the father, to nuture his household with The Word,if he doesn’t have a relationship with God,women, take the lead in this things,for the sake of your children.
Don’t catch then young, TEACH THEM YOUNG!
