Quite a lot Abraham passed unto Lot,but many of them Lot didn’t pass unto his own household.
1.Abraham knew how to entertain strangers,I figured out he taught Lot the same.(Gen 18:1-5) ( Gen 19:1-3) Lot was smart enough to catch that.
Heb 13:2-Do not forget to entertain strangers for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
2.Father Abraham did not just entertained strangers, He taught his wife to do the same but Uncle Lot just did it alone.
Gen 18:6- So Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah and said,Quickly get ready three measures of fine meal,knead it and bake cakes
Vs 7- And Abraham ran to the herd and brought a calf tender and good and gave it to the young man to butcher,then he (Abraham) hastened to prepare it.
Uncle Lot on the other side just knew it and did it alone.He passed nothing unto his wife.Mummy Lot was probably somewhere gisting with her friends.
Gen 19:3- Lot entreated and urged them greatly until they yielded and with him entered the house.And he(Lot) MADE THEM DINNER with drinking and had unleavened bread WHICH HE BAKED and they hate.
Abraham passed on all he knew to his wife,children,servants (All His household) so much that his chief servant knew the God of his master and how to pray to him.
Gen 24:12- And he(Eliezer) said,O Lord,God of my master Abraham, I pray you,cause me to meet with good success today and show kindness to my master Abraham.
You are the prayer warrior in your home,but your wife does not join you,your children have been exempted,so they could sleep more, Oga,well done. Na only you sabi study bible for your house,your children can’t even quote Psalm 23:1….It is well.
A man ought to know how to take the lead in his family, most importantly, teach his household all he knows.somedays you won’t be there but the legacy you have passed on would save you and your household.Eliezer eventually used it later for the good of himself and of his master.
