When we stay around someone long enough, we begin to sound like them, act like them, we can almost say everything about them, we can represent them so much that people won’t miss their absence , so also when you are a man of His presence, all that God is rubs off on you.
People won’t need to ask like Phillip did in John 14:8 – saying ‘show us the Father’? Men would see God in you, His love nature will be made manifest in you, your words will be seasoned with salt, ministering Grace to the hearers. The wrong people do to you wont get to you because you are overwhelmed with the ‘agape’ nature of the Father. You will be slow to speak, quick to forgive, slow to anger, taking offense will be very difficult because nothing will be potent enough to offend you out of God.
Your fellowship with the Father will matter most to you, you will act like God, talk like Him, love will be the motivation for your actions. You will be swift to share your Faith with others because it’s not just what you have read but that which you have experienced. You will be able to declare like John did in 1John 1:1- saying ‘that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you that you also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
A man of His presence is a man who has understanding of purpose. If you stay long in God’s presence, you would know what He has called you to be. You would have full understanding of His will, what He wants you to do per time, you would learn how to remain at the centre of His will. You would learn to say yes to Him everytime. You would hear when He speaks and what He says. A man of His Presence has access to His will per time.
A man of His presence is never afraid of challenges, He gets the strength to overcome them when he stays in fellowship with God through prayer and studying. He does not believe in impossibilities because He fellowships with God of All Possibilities. He can do all things,through the strength that is infused in Him In His Presence.
A man of His presence is never afraid of principalities and power, He is conscious that he is far above them, he understands and enforces his authority over them.
A man of His presence never make wrong choices, he knows and understands God’s best for him, he is quick to discern God’s will.
We all ought to be a lover of His presence. Many have a relationship with God but have lost fellowship with him, Holy Spirit has been given unto us to help us fellowship with the Father and the Son. He makes His presence real to us and in us.There is nothing worth more that can compare to the sweetness of His presence.
