Submission is a character, the greatest influence a woman has.Submission is a meat for the strong and not the weak. It does not mean intimidation or relegation, it is strength displayed in humility.
Submission is a character,an attribute of the human spirit,
Note: it does not jump on people, if is intentionally cultivated.
The blessings you would receive on your wedding does not include submission, it will only magnify what is in you already. Laying of hands cannot transfer submission to you,it is intentionally cultivated.
Before God would bring you under the authority of your husband ,He would have priviledged you to be under several authorities, which includes HIMSELF (GOD), civil authorities, spiritual authorities.
Most ladies despise every authority God place over them and they just assume they would be able to submit when they get married.Nah sister! You have to intentionally cultivate it.
Before APostle Paul ever mentioned submission in the home setting to the wives,he first addressed submission to government, masters,kings,supremes.
God respects Order, if you would not respect or submit under these authorities,it won’t jump on you in marriage.
You have been placed under a manager who is probably younger, submit,God is preparing you for what is ahead.
Your boss probably doesn’t appreciate every contribution you make or embrace your opinions or ideas,submit still,it will help you in marriage.
Colossians 2:13-14- therfore submit yourselves to EVERY ORDINANCE OF MAN FOR THE LORD’s sake,whether to Kings as supreme, or to governors……
Colossians 2:18- servants, , submissive to your masters with all fear,not only to the good an gentle but also to to harsh
Colossians 3:1- Wives,LIKEWISE,be submissive to you own husbands.
I love the word ‘Likewise’ in th last verse mentioned above,it means just the same way you do it in civil setting,practise the same in marriage.
Spiritual authorities are one of the best people that can help you nuture this character, because you would have to submit to your leaders,pastors,Father as unto the Lord( without any iota of rebellion) .
Relax,young lady,God is intentional about some of the things you go through at work,or in other places,it is so you can cultivate a great character that will be needed ahead. So Relax,submit and acknowledge every authority over you. Most importantly, Submit unto the Lord,the greatest authority. If you submit unto God,submission unto men would be easy.
