The ministry of Reconciliation is what Christ came to do. Sin separated us from God’s presence, Christ came and condemned sin in the flesh and restored us to where we belong-God’s presence. He did this through His own blood, His blood was the ransom he paid to get us back to where we belong, it was huge but it is eternally efficacious.This is the continuation of a post, I advise you read the previous one before you continue.(In His Presence 1)
Now in this presence, we have a stand called Righteousness, we approach God’s presence with no sense of guilt, because we have righteousness as God himself has it.It was gift imputed on us the moment we believed Christ. In His Presence, we also enjoy peace, we are sure God is no longer angry with us, the blood of Jesus appeased His rage. We have also been privileged to sit with Christ at God’s right hand in heavenly places, what a position of REST and AUTHORITY. Now we understand we don’t fight devil with our first, we have conquered him already, so we fight from victory, with the consciousness of our authority in Christ Jesus.
There is more to what the blood has done and what we enjoy in God’s presence, it also include the following
4. NO CONDEMNATION
Through the blood, we are now free from condemnation, judgement and accusation. No matter what your past looked like, the blood of Jesus blotted it out, so it no longer matters.
Our anchor scripture ,Colossians 1:20-21, ….verse 21 says ……To present you HOLY, BLAMELESS, and UNREPROVABLE IN HIS SIGHT.
Of all these three great words, ‘UNREPROVABLE’ is what I love most. it is translated ‘anegkletos’ in Greek, it means, ‘that cannot be called into account’ and unaccustomed. you know Satan is the accuser of the brethren, he is very familiar with your past, so it takes it as an evidence, present it to God ,so as to cast you away from God’s presence, but because of ‘THE BLOOD OF JESUS’ , God replies him and says, I don’t know what you talking about, and this is indeed true because the blood BLOTTED OUT EVERYTHING. SO Satan ‘s accusation is not real. that is why Romans 8:1- There is therefore ‘NO CONDEMNATION’ for those who are IN CHRIST JESUS…. why? They have been brought under the blood, this blotted out their past. Do you get the gist?
Now, even if you have been a murderer, you have aborted, done crazy things, the moment you come into Christ, it no longer matters. Satan’s accusation is totally false. God does not condemn you, Jesus does not condemn you, so who is he that can condemn? NO ONE!
Anytime, anyone tries to remind you of your past, remind them of ‘THE BLOOD OF JESUS’.
Romans 8:33-34 – who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
You see, in the court if law, the defense counsel can’t be the prosecuting counsel, bible calls Jesus our ‘Advocate’ and ‘intercessor’, He can’t be defending you and condemning you at the same time. Devil is the accuser, his evidence is your past or your sin, Jesus is your defense counsel,His own evidence is THE BLOOD. The blood is a greater evidence, it defeats every other evidences. I’m laughing as I am writing this, cos I can imagine the face of the devil because he has been defeated. my dear, your own part is to remind the enemy, be it devil or people, of what Christ did, present the evidence of the blood,he knows his evidence is false,he just want to play on your ignorance. It will shut them him up forever!
When you are standing in HIS PRESENCE, it should be with a sense of ‘NO CONDEMNATION’.This is why we leap for joy, we laugh at the devil, we scream and shout, because In His Presence, there is FULNESS OF JOY! Our joy proceess from the revelation we have from within, that devil has been defeated and God holds nothing against us. I hope you get the gist now. BLESS YOU!
