The Real Woman can be led 4

omoThis post is to help you differentiate the voice in your head from the voice in your heart. Like I’ve emphasized from the beginning of this series, the real you is your spirit and The Holy Spirit will lead you through it. Many times the scriptures interchanged the use of the human spirit with the Word ‘heart’. Your spirit is your heart, not your mind. There are times we have this knowing but we are not sure if it’s coming from our head or from our spirits. Many have taken decisions based on what they heard their heads said, thinking it was their spirits and they ended up  frustrated, later to say, I thought it was the Lord that spoke to me.

If you are more conscious of the mental realm than the spirit realm, your head voice will always be louder than the heart voice. The Lord will never lead you through your head but through your heart. Proverbs 20:27- The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart. This scripture says ‘his heart’, not ‘his head’. If the Lord will lead you, He will lighten your heart (your spirit). The deep things of God for your life are encoded in your spirit because The Holy Spirit dwells there. If only you can learn to follow his lead.

Sometimes, the INWARD WITNESS is like an intuition, not necessarily a voice, you would know it wasn’t your head thinking it. Your spirit knows things your head does not know.
Gen 19:30-35 (verse 33- so they made their father DRINK WINE that night, and the firstborn went in and lay with her father and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose)
Lot’s daughters needed to reduce their father’s mental consciousness, to take his attention away from the sense realm, they got him drunk. Wine must he really powerful, for a man not to know he was raped…. oh what a misery, no wonder proverbs described the effect of wine to be a realm where the voice of your body is lost. Proverbs 23:29-35.(verse 35- They have struck me but I was not hurt, they have beaten me but I did not Feel it.
Ephesians 5 likened the effect of wine to be the same as been drunk in the Spirit. Holy Ghost works like wine, when you are drunk with Him, you will lose sense or mental consciousness, your head voice will totally disappear, your heart voice gets louder and sharpened.

When the voice in your head gets louder than the voice of your spirit, get drunk! If intuitively you received an instruction or direction concerning purpose but you are not sure if it’s from your spirit, it’s time to be filled with the Spirit. It means pray more in tongues, increase your gauge, drink Him to stupor. If it’s from the Spirit, the instruction gets stronger and clearer, if it’s from the head, because when you pray in the spirit, your mind is inactive, your head is not the one bringing the words out, it’s the Holy Spirit through your spirit.

1Corinthians 14:14(Amp) – For if I pray in an unknown tongue, MY SPIRIT BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN ME PRAYS BUT MY MIND IS UNPRODUCTIVE (it bears no fruit and helps nobody).
I remember when I knew I was to start The God Seekers, it came intuitively during my devotion in 2015, my head couldn’t have thought about such because it wasn’t like I had a passion of some sort in that direction, it had never crossed my mind until then. But I disregarded it for a while but then it kept coming again, so I decided to pray about it. The more I prayed about it, the stronger and clearer it became, so I went ahead and spoke with my spiritual father and mentors about it, they all encouraged me to go ahead. I eventually started in 2016,  I’m so glad I obeyed the Lord, and I’ll say yes everyday. Every step I took in obedience made the vision clearer and brought fulfillment everyday.
This is the end of this series, sure you have been blessed by it. I pray for you that God’s purpose for your life will be unveiled to you by His Spirit in Jesus name. I celebrate the real you.
